Sydney, Veterinary Assistant

Sydney was born in Magnolia, Texas but she has lived in many places since. Despite moving around a lot, her love for animals continued no matter where she found herself. Simultaneously while embarking on her college journey, she gained experience at a mixed-practice vet clinic in Waco, Texas. Sydney realized her passion for exotic animals as well as large animals while working there. She moved back to the Houston area this past year and around that time she found MVH where she gets to continue gaining more experience and expand her knowledge in veterinarian medicine daily. Sydney is currently still in school majoring in animal science with aspirations to be a veterinarian. She has a 5-year-old American Bully named Kilo as well as two long-haired cats she rescued named Oliver and Willie. When she isn’t busy working or studying for school she enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Torie, Veterinary Assistant

Torie has always had a love for animals and has been apart of Magnolia FFA since the 7th grade where she is currently serving on their chapter officer team as their Treasurer. Along with this, she raises both market lambs and rabbits, is involved in their competition speaking teams and is on the Veterinary Science judging team.
Torie began at Magnolia Veterinary Hospital as a volunteer and joined our team about eight months later. She is currently in the process of getting her CVA (Certified Veterinary Assistant) and has one dog named Bella Onyx.
